An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the CitiPark team working within the Technical Department. The role is ideally suited to someone who is technically minded with a willingness to learn.

CitiPark is wholly owned by Town Centre Securities PLC and is one of the leading parking operators in the UK. We use a variety of technology systems to provide our customers with the best service possible.

The position of Technical Assistant will be based at our head office in Leeds. You will be reporting in to the Technical Manager and working within a busy department to assist in providing support to the internal company network, administration and maintenance of parking management systems and working on exciting new projects. You will receive exposure to some of the leading technologies and systems in the industry, as well as building up knowledge and experience in supporting a Windows environment including administering user accounts using Active Directory and Exchange 2010, LAN and WAN.

Not only is the role system specific but you will also assist in the maintenance of hardware installed on sites. This will be a hands on role and will require some travel within the UK.
Some of the technologies and systems you will be working on are:
• Parking Management Barrier entry systems
• Automatic Number Plate Recognition System
• Intercoms and Help Points
• CCTV and Door Access
• Windows Server Environment including Active Directory and Exchange
• MS Applications
• Cisco routing and switches
Experience in the above technologies is not essential as relevant training will be provided. The right candidate will have a willingness to learn with a strong technical mind-set and the ability to troubleshoot problems. Duties will include:
• Supporting head office users in their day to day jobs
• Providing support to remote sites across the UK using the previously mentioned systems
• Raising support calls with external suppliers and working with them to resolve any issues
• 1st point of call for internal and external support calls
• Updating and maintenance of all CitiPark systems
• Supporting the LAN and WAN
• Training and support of remote staff in their roles
• Updating company website using CMS

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in technology and new developments. A technical qualification is desirable but not essential. You will be provided with both in-house and external training to enable a full practical understanding of the range of advanced systems that we use.

The role is an ideal start for someone who is wanting to begin a career in technology. Candidate must have a clean Full UK Driving Licence as travel in company cars will be required.
Salary: £17,000 pa
